Rolling Stones guitarist Robert Plant has shared a new video for “Rolling Stone,” his latest single off his new album “A Perfect Circle.”
The video, which you can see above, will premiere this weekend on MTV.
In it, Plant sings about a Rolling Stones tour in the early ’80s, with a young singer named “Lucky” playing piano.
The singer sings, “I know you want it / You need it, I know you need it.”
The Rolling Stones performed the song at their 1977 concert at Madison Square Garden.
“Rollin'” comes just months after Plant announced he had been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
In February, Plant announced a new cancer treatment and that he had just started treatment with an experimental drug called Kymo.
“Lung Cancer,” the title of his new single, refers to the disease’s aggressive spread, which leaves a cancerous growth on the lung.
“I am so excited to share this song with all of you.
I will be so happy when I get to the point where I can play it live again,” Plant wrote in a Facebook post.
“It’s not a song about me.
It’s a song that celebrates life.
I love the way you all are.
I am a little nervous but I know we can overcome this together.”
The album will be released on Nov. 6.
